Are dogs allowed on the trails?
No, unfortunately, dogs must stay at home. The trails may only be hiked without a dog.
How is the elevation gain calculated?
This refers only to the positive elevation gain (ascent).
How long do I have to register for the trail run?
You can register online up to 24 hours before the event begins. After that, you can still register on-site for a higher fee—however, late registration is not available for the ULTRA TRAIL XL or the 100 MILES.

Which system is used for time measurement?
Timing is provided by a passive timing system (UHF) from race result AG. Two transponders are integrated into the race bib for timing purposes.
Can I camp on-site in a RV or car?
Of course, there will be a campground again this year. In addition, we have several campsites and a grassy area for campervans, RVs, and trailers right next to the event. Camping costs €20 for the first night and €10 for each additional night per vehicle/tent—you’ll pay the fee on site. However, you must take your trash with you and dispose of it yourself. Can I camp on site?
Yes! You're welcome to camp on site. We have a designated area for camping. Camping is free, and you don't need to register in advance! See the site map for details.
Can I transfer my spot to someone else?
Yes—you can do that up to 2 weeks before the event begins. We charge a processing fee of €20—just contact our support team.
Can I change my registration or switch to a different course or distance?
Yes, that is generally possible. Changing your registration from a longer route to a shorter one can only be done via email up to one week before the event begins. If you switch to a shorter route, the price difference cannot be refunded; instead, a €20 processing fee will apply. Upgrading from a shorter route to a longer one is possible up to one week before the event begins, provided you pay the price difference.
Can I cancel my registration?
You can cancel your registration in advance, but entry fees are generally non-refundable. Only in the event of an injury and upon presentation of a doctor’s note will we refund the entry fee up to 14 days before the event begins, subject to a 20 € processing fee. The refund will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of receiving the doctor’s note.
